Q Is there free parking near La Dentellière ?
A We have 2 free private car parks, one on each side of our Guest House.

Q Is there somewhere safe for bikes ?
A For cycling fans, we have a « Dove Cot » which locks where your bicycle can rest before
climbing Mont Ventoux.

Q Can we smoke ?
A In accordance with the law there are smoke detectors in the bedrooms, where smoking is forbidden, but you can listen to the cicadas whilst you smoke tranquilly outside.

Q Do you allow eating in the bedrooms in your Bed & Breakfast ?
A We presume nobody wants a bedroom that smells of food or that has furniture
with dirty stains on it so we only let guests eat outside.

Q What time do you serve breakfast ?
A Around 8.30 to 9.30.

Q Is it possible to have breakfast much earlier to get a headstart on the Mont Ventoux climb ?
A For cyclists who wish to get an early start we offer to prepare a breakfast tray the night
before which they keep in their room.

Q Are there any restaurants near your Guest House ?
A Just a few kilometres from here, in Caromb or in Beumes de Venise, you will find good
cheap restaurants.

Q What can we visit in your part of Vaucluse ?
A Very near to our Bed & Breakfast there are lots of picturesque villages to visit such as
Beaumes de Venise, Vaquéras, Gigondas and Rasteau where you can also taste their
famous wines.
Cyclists will appreciate the climb up Mount Ventoux as they will through Gorges de la
Nesque and along Via Venaissa.
Abbaye Sainte-Madeleine, not far from the village Le Barroux, is worth a visit for its
religious services, its shop and its views.
If you’re interested in Roman remains, Orange and Vaison-la-Romaine are not to be missed.
Provence markets are charming and you’ll find the biggest of them all not far
from La Dentellière in Carpentras. Isle sur la Sorgue is renowned for its antiques.

Q Can you advise us on buying wines ?
A  If you wish to purchase any wine whilst in the region, if you state that you are staying at La Dentellière, you will get a discount at the winery St.Marc in Caromb, La Cave in Gigondas and at the Rhonéa wineries in Beaumes-de-Venise, Vacqueyras, Rasteau and Visan.
Of course we can provide you with other good winery addresses in Haut Vaucluse once
you’re on the spot.
